Rosie Morgan

Rosie Morgan is from Kettering in Northamptonshire and resides in Seaford in East Sussex. She worships at St Peter's Brighton which was the first Holy Trinity Brompton church plant outside of London. She is a retired secondary teacher of Philosophy, Ethics and Religion who loves life and loves God more.

Rosie’s experiences are many and varied and her passion for women’s work stretches over many years. In the past she has led Alpha Groups and helped with an online anxiety course. For a number of years, Rosie was one of the ‘Women at Waverley’ having been a member of CWR’s Inspiring Women Team until it was disbanded during Lockdown in 2020.

Since then she has led Women's events at Ashburnham Place in Sussex several times a year. She says “Women's ministry is still closest to my heart and I am always amazed by what God does with a group of faithful women in 24 hours!”

Currently, Rosie is involved with 'Safehaven' each week which provides a safe place and a meal for vulnerable women. She also leads a home study group and assists at a Play Cafe in her local church which caters for approximately 200 carers and little ones who regularly attend.

Kay Macdonald

Kay Macdonald was born and brought up in Laxdale and grew up in the High Church in Stornoway. Kay resides in Glasgow with her husband Eric and their two sons Nathan and Joshua.  Kay has been a long time supporter of the Slavic Gospel Association. Early in their marriage Kay and Eric lived and worked in Romania and her love for the work of the Slavic Gospel Association grew whilst there.

Kay worships at The Tron Church in Glasgow. She is currently the Scottish representative for the Slavic Gospel Association’s Phoebe Project.

SGA’s “Phoebe Project” has been initiated so that supporters in UK and Ireland can encourage and pray for ladies who play immensely significant roles in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

SGA Phoebe aims to raise awareness of the work and ministry of these ladies so that others can pray effectively and support them financially. Kay will be visiting some of the projects Phoebe supports in May 2025. Come and hear her share of the work which is ongoing amongst the women in that part of the world.

What to wear

This is up to you. We have some people who wear their suits, some who come smart-casual and some who come in jeans and T-shirt. Whatever you chose to wear you can be sure of a warm welcome!

What to take

All the words for the items of praise are projected onto a screen or hymn books will be given out as you enter the building. Take a Bible with you, a notebook and pen/pencil (if you wish) and yourself.

What about my kids?

We have a crèche available and a Sunday School. Crèche volunteers are in the first room on the right as you enter Sandwick Hall. The Sunday School leave after the second singing.
